This is Scheme star Marvin Baird's new des res.

Marvin and girlfriend Dayna McLaughlin have moved into a smart £300,000 detached house.

With its £10,000 jacuzzi - with in-built telly - and pool table, the villa is a world away from the house in the Onthank estate in Kilmarnock where Marvin was living when the BBC fly-on-the-wall series The Scheme was filmed.

The drug-ravaged layabout invited the Record to take a peek around the house.

Marvin is especially proud of his imported spa bath and his new pool table - even though it doesn't have any legs.

He said: "The jacuzzi room is my pride and joy and the bath is a beauty, pure class. Seriously, this is the life.

"I'm most excited about the pool table because I'm not a bad player and I'll be getting into practice. Dayna has got a few rooms for herself, so once she gets a nice collection of clothes, there will be plenty of room."

The villa also has a swanky shower room, a master bedroom with a balcony and decking in the garden.

But the clothes strewn over the living room floor show Marvin, 31, and Dayna, 20, aren't too worried about keeping up appearances.

Marvin has been taken under the wing of gangster Jonathon Tolland, 29, who hopes to make a fortune by representing the accidental TV star.

The deal includes residence at the four-bedroom villa in leafy Cleland, near Motherwell in Lanarkshire.
