What is a mind map?

• A mind map is a great way to think of your central idea and make notes about different related words, phrases, ideas and information that you already know.
• It’s perfect for visualizing your thoughts and ideas, and for creating links between them.
• Put your idea or keyword in the center of the page, then use arrows, lines and speech bubbles to plot your ideas.
• You could use different-colored lines to link similar thoughts, or to categorize them.
• Don’t worry about it looking pretty! The idea is to get all of your ideas down quickly, then use the mind mapping template to review and order your thoughts and ideas.
